High school

So far, the best thing about high school is lunch and free periods. I like high school because we can leave school during free periods without an adult watching us. High school is a lot different then high school because everyone has different lunches we have a lot more freedom and we have more work. This brings me to the worst thing about high school. The worst thing is we have a lot more work and homework. Everyday after school I would go home eat a snack then have 1-2 hours of hw. Also every week we have twice the amount of tests as middle school. Overall I think high school is better because we learn to have freedom and we Learn how to work hard so we get prepared for college and be succesful.

what happened before Noah's ark

this story is the story of a flood before Noah's ark. This story took place in ancient Mesopotamia. The mesopatamian gods decided to wipe out humankind because they were to noisy. One god ending told a man to build a large round ark. Ending was telling the man exactly how to make the ark, what materials and and what to do with the specific materials. Another god told him it needed to be 3600 square feet and the wall needed to be six meters high. This flood story is related to Noah's ark because Noah's ark was based of of this story. It is similar because both story involve a ark and both story's have the gods telling people to build the arks. Noah's ark is different from this because as the story has been passed on it becomes more fictional so the story of Noah has 14000 animals and the storm lasted for 40 days and 40 nights.

Gods characterization

         I think god can be a very nice man but he can also be very cruel with very cruel punishments.God would either be helping the world or doing harm to the world and there is usually no in between. In the story of genesis god killed everyone and every animal except the ones on Noah's arc. He did this because he has seen that men have become wicked.he saved Noah and his family because he seemed like the only one that wasn't wicked. Once the 40 day storm was over Noah sent a bird of the arc and it came back with a branch from a olive tree. This showed that god still wanted the existence of humans and all the different animals.this was gods good side because there were no more wicked men. God wanted Noah, his family and all of the animals to make a new generation.

Garden of eden

            I believe that it was eves fault that Adam and Eve were kicked out of the garden of eden. It was eves fault because as soon as she came to earth god gave her specific instructions not to eat fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden. It is her fault because she took those fruits and shared them with Adam.as soon as she ate them god asked her if she had some god told her she was going to die and she had to eat dust for life.

flood myth

The stories of the Pawnee and Noah's arc are related because everyone died in bot of the stories except a few chosen people. They were saved because the god thought they were better for the world so people could only take after them. The way he drowned the bad people was he made it rain just so they can't stand anymore. Another reason they are related because In both they rained for a long time.

The Pilot

Hi my name is Jesse Baum I go to Roslyn high school and it's my freshman year. the only reason I'm doing this is because my English teacher mr. reiff is making me do this.  My favorite thing to do when I'm doing doing all of my boring school work is play sports and video games.
